We are looking for someone with a background in paint sales for our Vernon Hills location. While selling is priority one, your time will be spent stocking shelves and also some product delivery in our company vehicle, when necessary.

 

Job Title / Location:

Paint Counter Sales Assoc., Stock, Some Product Delivery / Vernon Hills

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Greet all customers in a professional and timely manner.

- Answer customer telephone calls and direct to the appropriate dept.

- Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers with all product lines and services.

- Sell additional merchandise to customers that will help them complete their projects.

- To actively participate in all provided training programs. 

- To maintain merchandising standards, including product displays.

- To actively participate in stocking shelves, carrying merchandise out for the customer.

- Present a professional, neat appearance, maintain a good attendance record and arrive to work at the scheduled time.

- Participate in all daily housekeeping responsibilities.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

- Previous retail paint sales experience

- A minimum of a high school diploma

- Customer service skills

- Detail oriented and ability to manage your time efficiently

- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 lbs.

- Computer skills

- Must work at least one weekend day

- Valid Drivers License

- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
