Why did you decide to do the work you are doing now?

I have always loved decorating! I started out at school in fashion design, but soon realized Interior Design is my passion.

 

What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home (describe?)?

Some years back I traveled with a job to Taiwan & Hong Kong. I was very young at the time. It was a scary experience getting off the plane in Taiwan and being greeted by their army. In Hong Kong I got to see people living on top of buildings with no real roof over their head. You realize just how lucky you are living in the USA.

 

What kind of art do you enjoy most? 

I love all types of art. My favorites are painting and photography.

 

What movie title best describes your life?

'Pursuit of Happyness' 

 

What website do you visit most often?

I like to visit a variety of different ones to check out and keep up with the trends in interior design.

 

What is the best way to start your day?

With a SMILE

 

What do you consider to be your best personal design find?

I was looking for a furniture piece to display some of my Mom's artwork and was able to find a curio cabinet at a local resale shop that fit into the decor of my home.

 

What 3 words would your co-workers use to describe you?

Quiet, Have a Sense of Humor, Respectful

 

What is one of your favorite smells and why?

Two of my favorite smells are fresh flowers and a newly painted room, both are fresh and clean ... a new beginning. 

  

What’s the best and worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?

BEST: If you put your mind to it and love it YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!!

WORST: You will never be able to do that. That is really a stupid idea.
